Sire (dad) Flying Artie x Show Stealer Dam (mum)
Honey Blossom's journey is one of patience, kindness and quiet strength. She came to Equicom via the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale after being overlooked and unwanted by buyers, not because of who she was but because of a physical difference in her knee. Despite this Honey Blossom has always carried a warm heart, a beautiful temperment and a natural instinct to nuture. Today she is treasured for everything that truly matters: her softness, her patience and the love she brings to every foal she raises. She shows deep content in her life at Equicom and at a place where she is not only accepted but adored.
Summary of her journey

Her knee didn't develop right and she was never forced to race

Her story so far
From the very begining Honey Blossom faced challanges that many horses never experience. Her knee developed slighly offset, a physical issue that caused people to overlook her potential. Although the condition could have been improved over time or corrected with a minor operation, her knee didn't develop as hoped.
Rather than pushing her into a racing career that her body wasn't suited for, a decision was made early that she would not race. Instead she thrived in the lush paddocks of bowral and took on the role of a nanny to younger horses. She watched over them with calm, confidence and patience showing early signs that motherhood would come naturally to her.
Honey Blossom has since become a mother to four foals, although heartbreak touched her life when she unfortunately lost her fourth foal this year. Despite the loss she has recovered safely with no complications or signs of distress, a testament to her quiet resilience and the supportive care she receives.
As she continues to thrive in her role as a mother, Honey Blossom is currently in foal to State of Rest and is progressing comfortably with no issues.
Her foals
Honey Blossom is a devoted mother and each of her foals has grown into their own unique pathway:
1st Foal - "Little Johnny"
A gentle and loving gelding who never made it to the racetrack but found an even more important purpose. Little Johnny is now a companion horse travelling with other horses to keep them calm and supported. At three years old he is the ultimate carer with the same peaceful temperament as his mum.
2nd Foal - Soon to be named "Tacobish"
Her two year old gelding is preparing for the start of his racing career. From the Sire Cosmic Force, he is shaping up to be a magnificent horse which is smart, sensible, well educated and stacked with potential. He carries himself with presence and shows early signs of a bright future.
3rd Foal - unnamed
Her yearling colt will be heading to the Magic Millions sale 2026. While Equicom loves keeping their horses, selling selected yearlings allow us to continue with the high level of care for our broodmares. He is a standout young horse in type with a strong future ahead.
